The movie premiere of “The Iron Woman” took place in a ftNFT store in the Mall of the Emirates, Dubai, and, at the same time, in the metaverse – in a dedicated cinema room in Fastexverse.
“The Iron Woman” recounts the success story of a female athlete, an Emirati woman, who dreams of participating in the triathlon competitions at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Directed by American-Lebanese director Dana Itani, the film recounts footage of competitions and interviews through the journey of Emirati sports athlete Al-Nabulsi. Facing many challenges and going through special training and life programs – Al-Nabulsi is on the way to fulfilling her dream of qualifying and competing at the Paris Olympics in the summer of 2024 as the first Emirati female athlete with this achievement.
