HARRIET CANNON is a writer with Southern roots and wanderlust. Curiosity about places we live, how family and culture affects our world view has been a life-long passion. Her Master of Counseling is from Seattle University. As a psychotherapist, she traveled widely, lived in every region of the contiguous United States, served as a consultant to International Schools, and worked for the US State Department in Chile. Harriet is co-author of Mixed Blessings: A Guide to Multicultural and Multiethnic Relationships. Exiled South is her debut novel. Harriet and her husband live on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State and have two adult children.
